Diva Bleona Competes Against Herself

Bleona    Bleona

When you compete against other people, you may never truly realize your full potential. When you compete against yourself, however, as Bleona Qereti does, your potential keeps expanding itself into the stratosphere. Bleona, star of the new Bravo series “Euros of Hollywood” loves challenges; she thrives on challenges and holds strongly to the belief of “girl power” – which has led some people to think her to be too critical. But if being critical gets her what she wants, then critical is what she is. “I live to challenge myself. There is no better way of living,” she said. “Don’t let anyone else kill your dreams and tell you that “you can’t make it.” The only thing standing between yourself and your goals is your own bullshit story that you keep telling yourself of why you can’t achieve something.”

Bleona  Bleona

By competing against herself, Bleona has risen from the barely-noticed country of Albania to a mega-watt diva of incomparable ambition and charm.

Bleona Takes it Like a Man

Bleona Qereti Bleona QeretiBleona Qereti is known worldwide for her bold and rebellious diva attitude. She’s a turbulent force of female empowerment, and often produces songs that brazenly display her “I don’t give a f***” attitude. Her first single, “Let Me Be Free,” was released in her native Albania in 1996, where she then delivered songs like “I Don’t Care,” “You Weren’t Man Enough for Me,” and “You Deserved It.” These songs, deeply entrenched in the idea of a woman’s strength, propelled her to the top of the charts and she became one of the top touring acts in Europe.

Bleona Qereti Bleona QeretiLiving in America since 2009, Bleona Qereti has churned out music that has been celebrated by America’s clubs. With top producer Timbaland, she produced “Pass Out,” and “Take it Like A Man” produced by StopWaitGo from the UK is now a radio edit by Dj Obscene available on iTunes and her latest single, “FUIF (F*** I’m Famous) is dominating the charts. Bleona Refuses To Compromise With New Single “F*** You I’m Famous”

Bleona Qereti

When Bleona first began her long musical journey as a child in Albania, little did she know that her travels would eventually lead her to America, or that her songs would inspire people all over the world. When her next hit single, “FUIF (F*** You I’m Famous)” is released on iTunes September 15th, it will bring Bleona’s no compromise attitude and wicked sense of humor booming out of sound systems everywhere, letting her fans know that they should never take “no” for an answer.

Bleona Qereti

Bleona’s message of unwavering independence has been a component of her music and her stage show since her earliest live performances. At the age of 15, Bleona surprised her audience by unveiling a pair of blue, patent leather pants under her full length shawl. Although this would not appear shocking by American standards, in Albania this slight bit of stagecraft was seen as outrageous and rebellious. Nevertheless, this stunt got Bleona noticed by the national press and she became a celebrity overnight. From here on out, everybody was wondering what this girl was going to do next.

Bleona Qereti

Bleona Qereti knew she wanted to maintain a career in entertainment, but, as she tells it, there was no such thing for somebody living in Albania at the time. “At that time,” Bleona recounts, “Albania was a suppressed, politically volatile country, so performing, as a career, was not an option.” Bleona soldiered on though, forging her own trail in an industry that, basically, hadn’t been invented in Albania yet. Not only did she bring American style performance to the stages of her native country, she was also the first artist in Albania to produce a full-length pop music album, and a pop music video.

Bleona Qereti

Essentially, Bleona was an entertainment industry pioneer in her native country of Albania, and when “F*** You I’m Famous” is released on iTunes September 15th, America too can experience the magic.

Bleona’s “F*** You I’m Famous” Encourages Her Fans To Follow Their Dreams

When Albanian superstar Bleona played New York City’s historic Webster Hall on her first tour of the United States, she knew immediately that she had to relocate from her native country and live here. Soon after, her dreams came to fruition, when Bleona was offered an opportunity to work on numerous television and music projects, including working with multi platinum and Grammy- award winning producer Timbaland, she now calls America home.

Bleona Qereti
As one can surely tell by now, Bleona’s whole career has been based on staying true to her own vision, not compromising, and following her dreams. On September 15th when Bleona’s latest single “FUIF (F*** You I’m Famous)” is released on iTunes, her message, that a person can do anything she sets her mind to, is destined to inspire a whole new generation of young women to crowd the dance floors with the attitude of a millionaire.

Bleona Qereti
“F*** You I’m Famous,” Bleona’s audacious collaboration with producer/songwriter Alex Cantrall (Kelly Clarkson, Pink) was written, Bleona confides,  as “an anthem for every 17-year-old girl who can’t get into the clubs  because she is underage, or any other person who can’t get into the clubs because they are not ‘famous’ enough.”

Bleona Qereti
Bleona has always encouraged young women to take control of their own destinies, and to not allow others to discourage them from pursuing their dreams. “I think every woman has the right to follow their dreams,” Bleona asserts, “and my songs have a real message of girl power.” As someone who has created a spectacularly successful pop music career from a country where such an industry didn’t even exist, Bleona is a credible example of girl power in action.

Bleona Qereti
When released on September 15th, “F*** You I’m Famous” will remind her fans that they, too, should stand up for what they believe.

Bleona’s New Single “F*** You I’m Famous” Refuses To Settle

Bleona’s strong, steady drive to the top of the American charts began when the acknowledged Albanian pop princess decided to relocate her base of operations to these shores. Bleona has enjoyed unprecedented pop music success in her Eastern European homeland, before additionally conquering Western Europe. After 2013’s StopWaitGo produced instant smash “Take It Like A Man,” Bleona followed up with the Timbaland produced “Pass Out,” further solidifying her presence in America.

Bleona Qereti

The next steps in Bleona’s plan for global domination are the release of her new single “FUIF (F*** You I’m Famous)” on iTunes September 15th, a video for which has already debuted on her YouTube Channel, as well as a series of television and movie projects. “FUIF” was first premiered at the annual Palm Springs White Party, where 30,000 swimsuit clad participants were exposed, many for the first time, to the force of nature that is Bleona. Unsurprisingly, she immediately rocked the party with a scaled down version of her popular stage show, and had the crowd eating out of her hand from the moment she appeared.

Bleona Qereti

Getting a crowd on its feet singing and dancing along to her music is nothing new for Bleona, though. Since the beginning of her career she has performed regularly in some of Europe’s largest venues, selling out stadiums of 20.000 to 30,000 people on a continual basis, with an estimated 100,000 people attending one of her appearances in the Albanian capital of Tirana.

Bleona Qereti

If anybody has earned the right to remind the people who stand in her way that she is, in fact, already a star, it is Bleona. However, “F*** You I’m Famous” is also a tongue-in-cheek anthem for those girls who can’t get into the clubs because they are a little too young, or not “famous” enough. Bleona seems to be telling them to not take no for an answer, and don’t settle for anything less than the best.

Bleona Confounds Expectations Again With “FUIF (F*** You I’m Famous)”

Marlon Brando. James Dean. Al Pacino. Bleona. What could all these icons of cool possibly have in common? Well, they were all trained in theater’s famed “Stanislavski method,” better known simply as “Method acting.” Method acting is an approach to performance that rejects the old theatrical forms of overacting for a more “natural” emotional presentation. Considering the theatricality of Bleona’s musical performances, many of Bleona’s fans would probably not guess that she has this little theatrical trick up her sleeve.

Bleona Qereti

But, that is one of Bleona’s many strategies; always keep them guessing. Bleona has raised the stakes and pushed the envelope since she began her show business career at the age of 5. Whether she was scandalously exposing a pair of blue patent leather pants under a black shawl as a teenage performer, or being the first music star in her home country of Albania to produce a pop music video, Bleona has always looked forward to what she will do next. For example, now that Bleona has conquered half the world with her high-octane disco diva pop singles and stage show, she has her sights set on America as the next stop in her quest for total global domination.

Bleona Qereti

Bleona, who speaks English, Italian, and German, in addition to her native Albanian, has recently relocated to the United States, but she can just as frequently be found soaking up the sun in exotic island settings like St. Tropez, Ibiza, and Sardinia. Although her fans would undoubtedly expect her to spend her off-time in some of the world’s most beautiful locations, many may not know that she had studied finance before becoming the globetrotting superstar she is. For all the glamor and glitz that Bleona represents in her new video and upcoming single, the appropriately titled “FUIF (F*** You I’m Famous),” there will always be deeper layers to Bleona that the world may never know.

Bleona Makes Her Presence Felt With New Single “FUIF (F*** You I’m Famous”)”

Bleona Qereti always knew she was going to be a star. Since the age of 5, when she was chosen to hand out flowers to the Prime Minister and other dignitaries in her homeland of Albania, to the moment she was invited onstage as a 9-year-old at a party for the Albanian Secret Service, whom her father worked for, and she stuck around singing for two hours, Bleona knew she had what it takes to dominate a stage and make her voice heard. It was that “take charge” attitude which propelled her into the limelight, and convinced her that nothing would stand in the way of her show business aspirations.

Bleona Qereti

Bleona is making her voice heard again with “FUIF (F*** You I’m Famous),” the latest in a long line of female empowerment anthems from the Albanian superstar. Bleona describes the song as “an anthem for every 17-year-old girl who can’t get into the clubs because she is underage, or any other person who can’t get into the clubs because they are not ‘famous’ enough.” Obviously, the song is meant as a humorous take on the diva attitude that Bleona, and many of her fans, represent, but it also contains the serious statement of intent that people should follow their own instincts, and not let the judgment of others keep them down.

Bleona Qereti

This is a belief that Bleona has followed since she was a child star in Albania. “I just want people to give me a chance,” Bleona reasons, “and if they don’t give me a chance, I’m going to take it anyway!” “FUIF” can currently be heard on her YouTube channel, where it has already registered almost 50,000 hits since she released it in May, and it will be available beginning September 15th on iTunes. In addition, Bleona will be touring Australia, Europe, and her own birthplace of Albania later this year. She is well worth checking out, to see for yourself what all the commotion is about.
